The GridView control in Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 is similar enough to the DataGrid control in version 1.x that one can get started right away. However, the capabilities of the GridView control far exceed those of the DataGrid control in that it is much easier to use, requires less code, and provides more power. The presenter of this webcast demonstrates how to display and edit data using the GridView control, how to work with the GridView and DetailsView controls together, and how to take advantage of several GridView controls events to get exactly the behavior needed.
