Multiband Loaded Inverted-F Antenna for WLAN/WiMAX/Wi-Fi Applications

This paper presents the numerical simulations of multiband loaded inverted-F antenna for WLAN/WiMAX/Wi-Fi applications. The antenna contains high peak gain of 8.40, 8.48, 8.44 and 6.90 dBi at 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 and 5.5 GHz band respectively, with less than 0.19, 0.2, 0.25 and 0.9 dBi gain variation within the 10 dB return loss bandwidth. Also, the antenna has return loss bandwidth of 360 (2300 - 2660 MHz) and 130 MHz (5430 - 5560 MHz) with peak return loss of -18.686 and -19.814 dB respectively. In addition, the antenna has achievable radiation characteristics.
