Multidimensional Data Visualization Techniques for Financial Performance Data: A Review

In this paper, the authors review 11 visualization techniques that can be used for visual exploration of multidimensional financial data. They illustrate the use of these techniques in studying the financial performance of companies from the pulp and paper industry. They also illustrate the use of visualization techniques for detecting outliers, and other patterns in financial performance data in the form of clusters, relationships, and trends. They highlight the potential benefits of using multiple visualization techniques to get insight into financial performance data.
