Wacom Europe, the European office of the leading manufacturer of pen tablets and natural interface solutions, wanted to increase its flexibility and reduce hardware costs. It deployed Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V to virtualize its IT environment. As a result, the company projects a 60 percent reduction in annual hardware support costs, a 30 percent savings in annual power costs, and faster disaster recovery.
