NCP Network Communications Products Engineering Case Study: Land Brandenburg

The ministry for education, youth and sport of the federal state Brandenburg (MBJS) deployed a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to connect schools, boards of education, and the MBJS in August 2003. NCP's task comprised: realisation of charges, service-mail operations, reconciliations, etc. via a common, secure network and VPN operation by the LDS Potsdam. Land Brandenburg deployed IPSec VPN infrastructure: Desktop with NCP Secure Enterprise Client on the schools network (administration network), NCP Secure Enterprise VPN Server at the data centre LDS Potsdam, integration of government agency networks.
