.NET vs J2EE

.NET vs J2EE again Yes, one more paper on the virtues and vices of these two competing specifications for Enterprise Application Development. This paper will compare the Microsoft .NET Framework to the Sun Microsystems Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition. The goal of this paper is to gain insight into both specifications, but not to identify the winner of a head to head match up! Besides, looking over the results of a search on papers already written on this topic, it becomes pretty clear that they have been trying to find that winner for at least a year or two. It could be that they are trying to find the answer to the wrong question.
