NYK de Mexico S.A. de C.V. Integrates Operating and Accounting Systems, Increases Operational Efficiency

NYK de Mexico S.A. de C.V. wanted to integrate the company's administrative systems with its accounting system to achieve operating efficiency and minimize duplications in data capture between the worldwide maritime-traffic system and the local accounting system to reduce errors and work hours needed. The challenge was to extend transparency and visibility of financial information to comply with the company's internal policies and improve procedures for personnel and payroll administration to optimize human resources. NYK de Mexico S.A. de C.V. implemented Oracle Database to create a robust, reliable database to support implementing Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial Management and Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management.
