On Power Allocation for Dual-Hop Amplify-and-Forward OFDM Relay Systems
Multihop relay systems with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) schemes have attracted much attention in wireless communications research area,. Maximizing the performances of OFDM relay systems is crucial to extend coverage and to maintain high data rate without increasing the transmit power of the nodes. The relay schemes can be categorized as Decoding-and-Forward (DF) and Amplify-and-Forward (AF). In this paper, the authors focus on AF relay systems due to the relatively small processing delay caused by decoding at the relay node.
