Quanta Computer Inc. could not be happier with its latest Intel Itanium processor deployment, and with good reason too. Its successful upgrade of an Itanium-powered ERP system has afforded the Taiwan-based Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) of laptop computers greater performance overheads to respond more efficiently to increasingly complex customer demands in manufacturing configurations and delivery schedules.
