Pathfinder Helps Fortune 50 Investment Bank Improve Operational Efficiency
Source: Pathfinder Development
The client, a Global 100 Investment Bank with over 22,000 employees on six continents, wanted to create a better-educated organization. Knowledge, it learned, needed to be shared across the entire organization worldwide in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its operations. The firm identified several specific problem areas: inefficient capture of and access to information, uncertainty about reliability and completeness of information, a lack of well-defined responsibility for business processes and information, and difficulty in fielding and managing distributed teams. Pathfinder collaborated with Diamond Management and Technology Consultants to implement a corporate desktop and knowledge management solution, with Pathfinder providing technical architecture, development and design, and Diamond providing business process reengineering, business analysis and change management.
