PCI DSS and Wireless

Since 2004, the PCI DSS standard has guided retailers about securing credit card transactions and protecting stored cardholder data. However, the guidance about protection from wireless threats has been unclear and non-specific. That has changed with PCI DSS 1.2, and the need to pay attention to wireless is no longer a suggestion but a mandate.
