Pervasive Evolutionary Algorithms on Mobile Devices
Source: University of Granada
This paper presents a Java framework to implement distributed applications via Bluetooth. It provides a high-level Application Programming Interface (API) which simplifies the creation of applications for Bluetooth devices in Java ME and Java SE platforms. This framework is based in client-server architecture and an event-driven asynchronous communication mechanism. As an example of use, the authors solve two well-known evolutionary computation problems (The Traveler Sales-man Problem and the Wave Function Problem).
