Predictive Estimate Of The Intensity And Dimensions Of The Global Crisis

In November and December 2008 and in January 2009 International Monetary Fund, (IMF) gave on repeated occasions its predictions on a long-range development of the world economy and economies of single countries and regions in the context of the financial and economic crisis. More specifically, it predicted at the beginning of November 2008 economic growth deceleration by 0,3% in 2009 related to developed nations and by 0,5% in the Euro Region. Predictions are made with reference to developed Asian nations (Japan, China, India and countries of Asia-Pacific Region - newly industrialized countries) that slowing down of the economy from 0,6% to 7,1% will take place. According to the opinion given by the Fund experts the USA Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will decrease by 0,7% in 2009.
