Principle Component Analysis for Image Compression

This paper deals with Principal Component Analysis and how it is used for getting a compressed image. In this paper, the authors have shown their results that are obtained by performing image compression using Principal Component Analysis on some standard image taken from internet. They have used MATLAB for implementation. PCA has find out its most important application in the field of linear algebra. PCA is a method of extracting information from confusing data sets so used in various fields like neuroscience, computer graphics, etc.
