PROCERGS Increases Availability and Reduces Response Time of Java Applications

PROCERGS wanted to deploy a server to support the migration of mainframe applications to Java language to ease the development and management process for future applications and reduce application development and maintenance costs. The challenge was to provide, manage, and maintain the existing highly critical applications, especially systems used by the Civil Police and the Military Brigade, such as the 190 emergency phone number. PROCERGS adopted Oracle WebLogic Suite, which is compatible with the J2EE standard, to manage the development of Java-based applications, empowering the team to respond more quickly to business demands.
