Profiting From Data Growth in Wireline Networks

The telecommunications industry is at a crossroads. While usage of the telecommunications and Internet infrastructure is growing tremendously and end users see great value in the applications and content accessible over the Internet, telecommunications service providers are still largely relegated to raw-bit delivery. Service provider revenues associated with bit delivery are not commensurate with network costs to support the tremendous traffic demands that are being placed on their networks.
