Where is project management going in the next few decades? Being able to look at current trends and see where they will take us is an interesting and thought provoking exercise. It might even allow us to get ahead of the pack and put the project management practices a decade ahead of the competitors. This paper looks at five current trends - some of them only just emerging - and looks at where they may take us.
