Proper delegation of tasks to others within the firm has the potential of strengthening one's organization in several ways: It frees up the time to let one concentrate on the tasks most deserving of one's efforts, i.e., client development, litigation, etc. It increase firm revenues by enabling others to bill time. It builds enthusiasm and loyalty within the firm. However, as lawyers, one must always remember that the ultimate responsibility for the actions of others remains on the one.
