Source: Microsoft
Tyler Technologies, with a customer base including nearly 6,000 local government offices throughout all 50 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom, has a long history of helping public sector organizations manage everything from taxes and public safety, to pensions and school solutions. For years the company's EDEN financial solutions had supported Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database software. But over the years the popularity of SQL Server pushed its Oracle customers to just 3 percent of its customer base. In order to take fuller advantage of the Microsoft Application Platform, the EDEN team is phasing out support for Oracle and helping its customers migrate to SQL Server 2008.
