Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Practices in Greek Small and Medium Sized Business Enterprises (SMES)

This paper presents information concerning the purchasing and supply management practices of Greek small and medium Sized Business Enterprises (SMEs). Findings from site visits to SMEs located in the metropolitan Athens area are presented. The results from this study are compared and contrasted with the existing academic and practitioner literature. Unique aspects of Greek SME organizations are identified and discussed.
