Information security is often associated with technological solutions, such as firewalls, back-up copies, encrypting etc. Another traditional convention is that the issue of information security is topical mainly for large companies and, possibly, public institutions. This traditional point of view sees the user as one of key threats to security. However, technologies are omnipresent and the number of users grows extremely fast. At the same time, information risks also expand and now extend to personal information as well. An efficient solution aimed at curbing the threats is encouraging comprehensive security awareness. Such comprehensive security awareness requires involvement of industry, public institutions and universities.
