As the demand for energy swells from the growth of expanding technology, green computing has emerged as the trend to combat this potential disaster. Computers and Datacenters have become an essential part of the prospering culture and emerging methods are currently under development to help foster future advancements in technology. The Energy Star Program and Climate Savers Initiative are distinguished examples of organizations encouraging advancement in the field of energy reduction. These foundations have developed relationships with major technology corporations (Dell, IBM, Microsoft, Intel, AMD, Apple etc...) to promote progression of power reduction and the ability to recycle/reuse its technology products.
