Reversible Image Data Hiding Using Predictive Coding Technique Based on Steganograpic Scheme
Source: IOSR Journal of Engineering
Steganography is the science that involves communicating secret data in an appropriate multimedia carrier, e.g., image, audio, and video files. This scheme provides the ability to hide the data into a host image and then recover the host image without losing any information when the secret data is extracted. The reversible image steganographic scheme based on predictive coding is proposed by embedding secret data into the error values during the lossless image compression. This technique embeds secret data into the error values of that image. During the predictive coding stage, this scheme embeds secret data into error values by using Median Edge Detective (MED) predictor.
