RFID Middleware Evaluation Toolkit Based on a Virtual Reader Emulator

RFID middleware is required and applied in various RFID environments. It spends too much cost and human resource for test function of RFID middleware to install RFID infrastructures in real RFID environment. To reduce installation cost, the paper suggests architecture design of RFID Middleware Evaluation Toolkit Based On A Virtual Reader Emulator that provide not only virtual RFID environment, but also test and verification of RFID middleware. In suggested design, RFID Middleware Evaluation Toolkit support virtual reader/tag emulator and scenario based test for providing various test cases. Also RFID Middleware Evaluation Toolkit provides RFID middleware test and verification via real-time monitoring of its internal information and status. It support cheaper and easy RFID middleware evaluations using virtual environment which similar to real environment.
