Routing in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANETs)
Source: Lund University
Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs) have achieved a big importance in fields of wireless communication. This kind of wireless communication is made by sending packets from one to another node and nodes act as router as well as host. Routing is very complex in such networks due to mobility of nodes and due to this number of protocols has been developed. There is no fixed topology in MANETs and dynamic routing protocols are needed for such networks. The purpose of the paper is to discuss MANETs and important protocols, which is used for routing. And to distinguish which protocol is best as compared to other and why it is best.
