SABIC Standardizes Desktop Environment, Achieves 85.5 Percent User Satisfaction

The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) is among the world's top five petrochemicals manufacturers. It is the Middle East's largest non-oil company. SABIC IT was seeking a cost-effective channel through which to provide its employees in Saudi Arabia with up-to-date software to help boost their productivity. SABIC IT deployed Microsoft Office Professional 2007 to 18,000 users in just two months. It used its existing Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 technology to roll out the solution.
