The head office decided to centralise QMH's accounting systems and investigate ways of increasing efficiency. The company wanted to put the company on a consistent platform by implementing a new back-office financial solution that could be integrated with standardised front-of-house property management systems. Their key objectives was to post revenues from the PMS into their financial solution automatically rather than manually and to close the books within five days of financial period end. Following a full competitive tender process, QMH selected SAP software for financial accounting to provide the back-office platform for its three operating divisions.
