Scalability Study for Deploying VMware View on Cisco UCS and EMC Symmetrix V-Max Systems

This paper reports the results of a study evaluating the scalability of the VMware View virtual desktop environment on a Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) connected to EMC Symmetrix V-Max Series arrays with Enginuity via a Cisco MDS director class SAN Switch. The paper also provides guidance and sizing recommendation for customer deployments for Cisco UCS Server, EMC Symmetrix V-Max Storage, and VMware View.
