Scale-Out Scalability of the Pentaho BI Platform

This paper contains the description of a method used to measure the performance of a BI platform. Also included, are ways in which to use these measurements to determine the scalability of a BI system in scale-out architecture. The data demonstrates that the Pentaho BI Platform scales linearly in a scale-out architecture when external limiting factors are eliminated.
