Schiphol Amsterdam Airport wanted to upgrade the airport's software infrastructure to create a solid base that technically, functionally, and strategically supports future developments at Schiphol and help the control and accounting department function more leanly and comply more easily with the varying criteria of the domestic and internationally-based airlines that use Schiphol as a central destination. Schiphol Amsterdam Airport upgraded to Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12, facilitating implementation of project management modules such as Oracle TeleSales and Oracle iProcurement and allowing the airport to manage more services centrally.
