School District Deploys New Servers in Minutes Rather Than Days With Dell Server Virtualization Solution

The school district needed to replace distributed end-of-life servers and improve its storage infrastructure while providing protection for data to serve K-12 students with a visionary program in educational technology. The school district virtualized 114 servers onto seven Dell PowerEdge servers using VMware Infrastructure 3 and Dell EqualLogic PS Series storage to provide support for individual "Virtual lockers" for students in a new client environment powered by Stoneware webNetwork software, Dell Latitude laptops and Dell OptiPlex desktops.
