School District Enhances Collaboration While Reducing Costs
Source: Cisco Systems
The Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District consists of two high schools and a district office. Their major goal was to eliminate the $8,000 to $10,000 that the district spent annually for telephone extension moves, adds, and changes. They need to increase administrative efficiency, reduce voice system costs and support campus safety. The Los Gatos-Saratoga High School chose Cisco to overcome these challenges. They implemented Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express and Cisco Unity Express in both high schools and district office, enabled campus wide wireless access with Cisco Unified Wireless Network and provided Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phones to mobile teachers. The results of implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager eliminated US$8,000 to $10,000 and simplified collaboration with mobile staff and students.
