Schools Improve IT Management, Conserve Resources With New Operating System

Norwalk Public Schools wanted to improve its IT operations and management and simplify application and system deployment. The district is working with partner Digital Back Office to deploy a prerelease version of the Windows Server 2008 operating system. The district is using the new system to enhance security, consolidate its infrastructure, and increase IT staff productivity, thereby reducing costs by approximately U.S.$71,250 each year.
