Securing Information Flows With Trust-Based Encryption
Source: University of London
To maintain competitive advantage, streamline business processes, satisfy regulatory requirements and support informed decision making, organisations are increasingly sharing information across traditional organisational boundaries. However, in doing so, an organisation may risk potential legal liability, financial loss, tarnished reputation, or in certain circumstances, loss of life should sensitive information be leaked. The need to protect information from unwanted disclosure, especially where an organisation is composed of multiple, independent sub-organisations with potentially conflicting objectives, loyalties or ideologies presents many challenges for today's information driven economy.
