Security and Privacy Issues as a Potential Risk for Further e-Commerce Development

E-commerce security and privacy is an important issue that has been leading to negative or adverse effects on the further development and growth of e-commerce. In this paper, the reasons behind lack of customer security and privacy online are discussed; importance of adequate security and privacy measures is emphasized, and a few methods to implement the change are outlined. This paper is based on a literature review that emphasizes the need for increased security and privacy measures and the importance of customers trust in developing online relations.
