Shared Health, Inc. Builds Clinical Data-Sharing Platform and Boosts Practice Efficiency by 17%

Shared Health, Inc. wanted to build the Shared Health Clinical Xchange to provide real-time information to clinicians - including things such as encounter data, medications given, lab tests, allergies, medical transcription, radiology reports, and vital signs and introduce and build clinical decision support tools on top of the company's existing Oracle tools. Shared Health, Inc. used Oracle Healthcare Transaction Base as the clinical data repository for the Shared Health Clinical Xchange, providing a secure environment and allowing the exchange to accept and process many different data domains and worked with Oracle Consulting to help payers and employers manage proactive and preventive health initiatives while enabling consumers to more easily manage their critical health information.
