Shinhan Card Secures Korea's Mobile Credit Cards With IBM Software

Shinhan Card needed an IC card issuance system that would support advanced functionality. Using IBM Core Smart Card Management System, Shinhan Card deployed Korea's first mobile credit card solution - enabling consumers and businesses to securely use their cell phones as credit cards. As a result this reduced time and effort of entering new markets, enabling company to easily adapt to business changes and new card issuance equipment.
