SignetLab2: A Modular Management Architecture for Wireless Sensor Networks

The application space for wireless sensor network technology is growing at a rapid rate, driven primarily by the availability of a wide array of devices capable of monitoring a variety of events, from large temperature changes to gas leaks. However, the development of protocols to support specific applications of these sensors requires the ability to perform rapid testing on actual hardware. To this end, a number of testbed tools have been designed with the goal of easing testbed experimentation.
