Streamlining Storage Management With Virtualization-Aware EMC Navisphere Manager on Dell/EMC CX4 Arrays

When organizations transition to virtualized environments, efficient and effective management of storage resources can be a particular challenge. Many storage management tools are designed for traditional, non-virtualized environments in which the relationship between servers and storage resources is static and one to one. Virtualization, however, abstracts servers, operating systems, and applications from the physical hardware that supports them, rendering them inaccessible to most storage management tools.
