Founded in 1987 as CompuMentor, TechSoup Global (www.techsoupglobal.org) is a nonprofit technology assistance provider with 160 employees. TechSoup wanted to enable the creation of a next-generation data center through server consolidation and virtualization. TechSoup traded in old servers and installed HP BladeSystem and VMware virtualization software, and integrated the entire solution with the storage area network.
