Telefonica Links 18 Operating Units Across Latin America Using Microsoft Exchange Environment on HP Platform

Telefonica is a leading private company in the global telecommunications market, with headquarters in Spain. Telefonica wanted to provide a streamlined, consolidated, standardized e-mail solution across Latin America, migrating 93,000 users from Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange to a new Exchange Server 2007 Environment. Telefonica deployed a new Microsoft Exchange 2007 Server environment, hosted on an HP ProLiant servers and blades, with StorageWorks EVA disk arrays.
