Temenos Group AG Gains Real-Time Visibility Into Its Development Processes

Temenos Group AG is a leading provider of integrated, modular core banking systems. The company had been growing rapidly for some time, both organically and through acquisitions. They realized that it needed to replace a host of homegrown development systems for defect tracking, requirements management and source control. After pondering a variety of solutions, including integrating best-of-breed components and building a solution in house, They narrowed down the finalists to IBM and one other company. The IBM team reviewed Temenos' existing development environment and built a proof of concept around IBM Rational Team Concert software. Together with IBM Business Partner Imtech, IBM delivered a process improvement assessment to Temenos, and the business selected the IBM platform.
