Temperus: Launching New Technology From Media Entrepreneur
Monitoring employee activity is always a sensitive issue, and one that had already polarised the media following stories of several high-profile companies blocking access to social networking sites on the corporate network. Temperus was looking for a PR campaign that would present it as the acceptable face of monitoring tools, and differentiate it from its more draconian competitors. The challenge was to create a campaign for a brand new company that had yet to secure its first referenceable clients. Aspectus looked at the issues surrounding computer use at work, management techniques and current trends in the media and developed three main storylines to work on with the journalist contacts.
