Testing Triple Play Services Over Open Source IMS Solution for Various Radio Access Networks

Nowadays, with the development of next generation networks, new standards for voice and video services have been introduced, and VoIP (Voice over IP) has become a very popular protocol. It leads to the convergence of networks which provide voice and data transfer services with enhanced and improved applications for customers. As a key element of the next generation networks, IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) architecture aims to offer multimedia services via fixed-mobile convergent solutions. In this paper, a work model offering triple play services via a UMTS network and an IMS subsystem is realized.
