Providing an RDP end-user experience that closely matches a PC-like experience - from home, customer headquarters, and branch offices - is not a 'nice to have', but rather a necessity. Without it, an organization's ability to enable effective mobility and productive remote working practices, and to conduct its business effectively within or beyond the LAN, can be greatly diminished. Despite the significant strides made by Microsoft RDP - the de-facto standard protocol - since it was introduced more than a decade ago, end-users are exposed to slow PDFs, PPTs and screen freezes when using RDP, especially remotely.
