The Centers for Dialysis Care Achieves Greater Efficiency and Higher Performance With Consolidation

The Centers for Dialysis Care (CDC), operates 17 programs in Northeastern Ohio their challenge was to Increase system instability with insufficient, less accessible storage, underutilization of disk space, decentralized system management and high power consumption with limited space. They chose Mainline Information Systems to overcome these challenges. Mainline suggested IBM BladeCenter Chassis H and 5 IBM HS21 Blade Servers for the consolidation, IBM System Storage DS 4700 Express and the IBM System Storage SAN Volume Controller for storage, and Mainline Professional Services. The results of deploying Mainline solutions were they consolidated and optimized server and storage hardware, centralized and automated management which reduced energy and space requirements, flexible and expandable servers storage and simplified storage infrastructure management.
