The reasoning behind this paper is to draw accurate conclusions as to the reliability and economics of running wind farms. Case studies from places around the world such as North America, Australia and Europe have been used to help draw accurate conclusions about reliability. Investigation on the costing of wind farms was done by looking at the cost of a wind farm to be built against the revenue the land owners receive after selling the electricity. Wind Power has the ability to become one of the world's major electrical resources with projects such as the Portland Wind Energy Project which features over 120 turbines situated along the Capes of Victoria.
