The Innovative Service Delivery Environment: Utilizing Service Lifecycle Planning and Service Oriented Architecture in Services Transformation

This paper focuses on two key SDE program insights and the best practices and tools that support them. First, the SDE program definition should be based on a Service Lifecycle approach, considering issues such as competitive differentiators in technology, process and people. Second, the deployment of a Service Delivery Environment should be treated as a Transformation Program, considering the Present Mode of Operation (PMO) and the desired Future Mode of Operation (FMO), a prioritized and phased deployment approach with measurable success at the conclusion of each phase, and all the migration issues that might apply.
