Toshiba TEC France Imaging Systems Halves Order Lead Times Through Flow Automation

Known in Europe for its laptop microcomputers and as a manufacturer of sophisticated electronic components, the Japanese group Toshiba also enjoys an enviable position in office systems through its subsidiary, the Toshiba TEC group, which specializes in multifunction printing systems (scanners, photocopiers, printers, etc.) and point-of-sale equipment (tills, balances, etc.). In the hypercompetitive market of image processing and document printing systems, speed of response to customer demands is critical. Toshiba TEC implemented the Oracle E-Business Suite to address this challenge - first in France and then across Europe - from a single English-language Oracle Database instance located in France.
