The Ministry of Justice is one of the largest government departments in the United Kingdom. Within the Ministry of Justice, the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) is an executive agency that brings together the headquarters of the Probation Service and HM Prison Service. Responsible for protecting the public and reducing reoffending, the challenge was to improve overall performance of data loading, analysis, and extraction within the OASys Data Evaluation and Analysis Team (O-DEAT) database. Ministry of Justice worked with Beyond Systems to upgrade to Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition, speeding processing times by 30%.
